Project overview: Hanssen Translation, owned by native Norwegian Vibeke Hanssen, who approached Happyleaves to develop a fresh brand that positioned her services alongside clients from the oil & gas, medical and legal industries in western Norway. The brand was to reflect her love for her home country yet be friendly in colour and tone-of-voice, whilst appearing professional enough to attract new business from these fields.
The project started with the development of the company logo mark icon, and each wave line for this shape begins with deep crests and then flattens out - this alludes to the conversion from one language to another. The waves icon helps cement the geographical position of the islands that make up the location of the business - Stavanger - being surrounded by water and made up of many smaller islands.
A digital presence was developed to utilise the brand assets effectively whilst communicating quickly and easily the services on offer and how to make contact. The end result is both visually enticing, professional and simple to operate for potential clients, who are all too often working to tight time constraints.
Design tasks: brand design, logo mark, branding assets, marketing collateral, mobile responsive website, typeface and colour selection.
